Transparent pricing
Providers set their own prices — HomeRelay makes sure you can see and compare them clearly.
Indicative estimate
Before you submit, you see an indicative range based on the type of job. It is a guide, not a quote — and we say so. Where we don’t have enough data for a range, we show no number rather than a made-up one.
Call-out fee
Some trades charge a call-out that covers travel and the first block of time. If a provider charges one, it appears as its own line on the quote — never hidden inside "labour".
Labour
Quoted per job or per hour, always as its own line. You can compare labour across quotes directly.
Parts and materials
Parts are itemised with plain-English names and what they do. If a part like a "thermostat" or "door interlock" is proposed, we explain it — and whether supplying your own part is an option for that job.
Scope changes
If the provider finds more work mid-job, they propose a scope change with the reason, the line items and the price difference. Nothing is added to your bill without your approval. No silent changes, ever.
